Jakarta, March 5 -- Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, has asked regional governments to improve infrastructure to anticipate the Eid al-Fitr exodus travel flow.

"Regional governments are also being mobilized to improve infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and other facilities such as rest areas and traveler services," he stated at a press conference here on Wednesday.

He added that the government has inspected key infrastructure for Eid holiday travelers and identified potential disaster-prone areas, such as landslides and floods, along with the necessary heavy equipment for emergency response.
