Indonesia, July 12 -- The Lampung provincial government is making efforts to develop a tourism ecosystem in the province to drive economic growth in villages.

"The Lampung provincial government is currently building a tourism ecosystem," head of the Lampung Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Office, Bobby Irawan, said here on Saturday.

"The tourism ecosystem will be integrated from upstream to downstream, where local communities in tourist areas or tourism villages will be involved in its implementation," he informed.

The province will aim to ensure tourism activities go beyond small events, he added.
