Jakarta, Jan. 28 -- Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said labor-intensive programs are helping drive community economic activity in disaster-affected areas of Sumatra.
"Since December 12, 2025, we have also launched labor-intensive programs involving more than 30,100 local workers, thereby helping stimulate the local economy," Hanggodo said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
According to him, the response has been carried out in an integrated manner covering the sectors of roadd, water resources, housing, and strategic infrastructure to ensure the recovery of basic infrastructure and the continuity of community activities.
