Jakarta, June 16 -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has highlighted the need for policies to prevent corrupt practices in the new student admission system (SPMB).
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that the anti-graft body is pushing for such measures uncovering various corruption-related issues in the education sector, such as bribery, extortion, and gratuities during student enrollment processes.
"Secondly, the lack of transparency in quotas and requirements in SPMB opens opportunities for bribery, extortion, or gratification," Prasetyo told ANTARA here on Monday.
