Jakarta, March 27 -- The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) has urged regional governments and tourist attraction managers to pay more attention to making tourist attractions child-friendly to ensure children's safety and comfort.

At an online press conference on Thursday, deputy chair of the KPAI, Jasra Putra, said that Eid al-Fitr homecoming activities not only affect the transportation sector but also tourist attractions in the intended destinations of homecoming travelers.

He appealed to regional governments and tourist attraction managers to ensure the comfort and safety of children, especially amid the potential for increased tourist visits to homecoming destinations.
