Jakarta, March 22 -- The Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Ministry emphasized its commitment to serving the public during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, including deploying surveillance cars to anticipate cellular network disruptions at airports, toll roads, and ports.
In an official statement released on Saturday, Komdigi Minister Meutya Hafid noted that the ministry plans to collaborate with cellular operators to ensure reliable telecommunication services during the holiday season.
The minister explained that the initiative is necessary, as the Komdigi Ministry projects a 20 percent increase in cellular traffic during this year's Eid compared to the previous year.
