Jakarta, March 25 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) has announced that the 112 emergency call service will be ready for the public during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"We are currently preparing the 112 call center as a single emergency service in 141 districts/cities. The service is free of charge for the public, whenever and wherever," the ministry's director general of digital infrastructure, Wayan Toni Supriyanto, said on Tuesday.

The service will be provided for emergencies requiring police services, fire, and health facility support in the form of ambulances, he informed.

All these services will be accessible in cities/districts providing the 112 service, he added.
