Jakarta, May 9 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto announced that the Japan Business Federation, or Keidanren, is committed to increasing investment in Indonesia.

Hartarto made this statement during a meeting with the Chair of the Indonesia-Japan Committee in Keidanren, Kakinoki Masumi, on Thursday, as part of Hartarto's working visit to Tokyo.

"The meeting discussed the development of various forms of cooperation and potential and challenges faced by Japanese companies in investing and running their businesses in Indonesia," the minister noted in a statement on Friday.
