Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- KAI Commuter trains operated normally with 1,063 Jabodetabek Commuter Line trips running from 4:00 a.m. to midnight on Monday to serve the public, following days of anarchic protests in the capital and several regions.

Vice President Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus, said the operation aims to ensure continued access to public transportation services for daily commuters.

However, he urged passengers to prioritize safety and security while using public transport, particularly the Commuter Line.

"We also encourage the public to play an active role in maintaining public facilities at stations and onboard trains so they remain in good condition and comfortable for shared use," Joni said.
