Jakarta, Oct. 11 -- The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) stated that the business sector remains focused on maintaining production and economic capacity following the shutdown of the United States government.
"We are ensuring strong production capacity for footwear, textiles, and garments, as we also supply the European Union and Canadian markets," Kadin Chairman Anindya Bakrie said here on Saturday.
He noted that government shutdowns have occurred several times in the United States, emphasizing that the situation does not completely halt the country's economy.
