Jakarta, July 17 -- The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) is urging all stakeholders to collaborate in banning the sale of cigarettes to individuals under 21 and in enforcing No Smoking Areas (Kawasan Tanpa Rokok/KTR).
Siti Nadia Tarmizi, Director of Non-Communicable Diseases at the Ministry of Health, explained that regulations on tobacco and e-cigarette control outlined in Government Regulation (PP) No. 28 of 2024, an implementing regulation of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, are already enforceable.
