Samarinda, Feb. 18 -- The Mulawarman University in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, welcomed 12 Japanese students to participate in a program titled "The 3rd International Student Exchange Faculty of Forestry and Tropical Environment Mulawarman University" on Tuesday.

The program is a partnership between the Forestry Faculty at Mulawarman University and several faculties from Japan and has been running for three years.

"What we want to build is an international adaptation, not only students but also lecturers who play a role in the program," the university rector Abdunnur remarked, adding that the program aligns with the university's goal of achieving world-class status.
