Makassar, July 11 -- At the 6th Joint Working Group (JWG) Japan-Indonesia and the 6th Japan-Indonesia Rectors Conference, a forum of rectors from state universities in Indonesia and Japan introduced the idea of a research consortium.

Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Rector Prof. Dr. Jamaluddin Jompa, MSc, speaking in Makassar on Friday, highlighted the advantages of collaborative research, with the primary goal of enhancing research output.

He explained that strategic collaboration across institutions and countries offers five key benefits, with the first, Pooling Resources, or combining resources to strengthen overall research capacity.
