Jambi, Nov. 28 -- The Jambi Provincial Government has declared a hydrometeorological disaster alert status following extreme weather and climate conditions that triggered floods and landslides in the region.
"Jambi has declared its hydrometeorological alert status. Today, we held a meeting with stakeholders from the police, military, and the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The meeting recommended this status upgrade," Head of the Jambi Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Bachyuni Deliansyah, said here on Friday.
