Kota Jambi, Dec. 10 -- The Jambi Provincial Government and South Korea, through the Korea Indonesia Forest Cooperation Center, established a partnership to restore the Londerang Peat Protection Forest in Muaro Jambi as part of their sustainable forest management collaboration.

"South Korea has activities in Jambi, namely peat restoration in the Londerang peat forest area. This is concrete work that the community can directly benefit from; we have done a lot of work there," said the Jambi Governor, Al Haris, in Jambi City on Wednesday.

According to the governor, the collaboration must be maintained to support environmental sustainability and the communities surrounding the protected forest area.
