Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- The Jakarta International Jazz Festival (JakJazz), Southeast Asia's oldest international jazz festival, will return on Dec. 20, 2025, after a six-year break, organizers said on Wednesday.
The 15th edition will be held outdoors at Senayan Park in Jakarta with a capacity of about 4,500, Festival Director Tommy Maulana announced at the "JakJazz Intimate Media Luncheon 2025."
JakJazz 2025 adopts the theme "Respecting the Legacy, Empowering the Youth," focusing on promoting emerging Indonesian talent while featuring select international artists, including Motoharu from Japan and a guest from the United States.
