Bogor, West Java, Aug. 30 -- National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensured that the legal process against the seven police officers involved in the incident that killed a ride-hailing motorcycle driver, Affan Kurniawan, would be carried out swiftly and transparently.
"The handling process is currently underway. I have ordered it to be carried out fast. The ethics hearing must be ready within one week," he remarked on Saturday.
He stressed that resolving the case is a priority to provide legal certainty for the public and address growing concerns.
In addition to the ethics hearing, other legal measures may follow if wrongdoing is found that requires firm action, he added.
