Jakarta, July 5 -- The designation of smoke-free zones in Jakarta is not expected to negatively affect small businesses, according to the Center of Human and Economic Development (CHED) at Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, Jakarta.
In a statement released in Jakarta on Saturday, CHED head Roosita Meilani Dewi said that the Draft Regional Regulation ( Raperda ) on Smoke-Free Zones (KTR), which is currently being deliberated by Jakarta's Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), is supported by a strong legal foundation.
