Jakarta, July 22 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has said that the city's improved transportation system has started getting international recognition.
"Jakarta's transportation is gaining international attention for its improvement," he informed on Tuesday after meeting with the Mayor of New York, the United States, and transportation managers in the US city.
According to Pramono, Jakarta's congestion level is lower compared to New York, which remains one of the most congested cities in the world, while Jakarta ranks 90th.
"It is possible due to several improvements that we made. Jakarta has the MRT, LRT, Transjakarta, Transjabodetabek, Commuter Line (KRL), and others, which are integrated," he said.
