Jakarta, April 9 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung announced that the city's poverty rate decreased by 0.16 percentage points in September 2024, reaching 4.14 percent, compared to 4.30 percent in March 2024.
"Jakarta's poverty rate was recorded at 4.14 percent. This figure has decreased by 0.16 percent compared to March 2024 and decreased by 0.30 percent compared to March 2023," he stated while delivering the Jakarta Governor's Accountability Report (LKPJ) for 2024 on Wednesday.
Anung attributed this achievement to improvements in several macroeconomic indicators, including stable economic growth.
