Jakarta, Sept. 8 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo confirmed that all public transportation services in the city have resumed normal operations after disruption caused by recent protests.
"Today, all transportation activities in Jakarta are back to normal. This includes the bus stops at Polda Metro Jaya, Mandiri, and Istora, and everything is back to normal," he announced on Monday.
With the return of public transportation services, he also informed about the reinstatement of TransJakarta and MRT fares.
Previously, the regional government had waived TransJakarta and MRT fares for a week due to the repair work.
