Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- Jakarta's Provincial Government is currently preparing a policy for free public transportation for 15 groups of residents in Jakarta as part of the 100-day program led by Governor Pramono Anung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno.

"We are preparing for this because it is part of the 100-day program," Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno remarked here on Tuesday.

Residents, comprising the elderly, people with disabilities, and recipients of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP), will be eligible to use public transportation for free in Jakarta, such as Transjakarta, the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), the Light Rail Transit (LRT), and JakLingko.
