Jakarta, Sept. 6 -- The Indonesian police have named 12 suspects in connection with the mob looting of the residence of suspended lawmaker Surya Utama, popularly known as Uya Kuya, in East Jakarta on August 30.

At a press conference on Saturday, East Jakarta Police Chief Senior Commissioner Alfian Nurrizal said the suspects face charges ranging from inciting looting to theft and assaulting security officers.

He added that the police investigation is ongoing to uncover more details.
