Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- The Jakarta police have uncovered a China-Indonesia drug trafficking network following the arrest of three men with 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, a police officer said.

The drug trafficking suspects, arrested during crackdowns on July 29 and July 31, 2025, have been identified as ADR, DM, and MM, head of the Jakarta Police's Narcotics Investigation Unit, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Indra Tarigan, said on Friday.

A manhunt is underway for another suspect, identified by the initial T, who allegedly supplied the crystal meth package to the suspects, he informed.

ADR, DM, and MM were arrested based on a public tip on suspicious activities at a rented house in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Banten province.
