Jakarta, Nov. 18 -- The number of passengers on the Jakarta Light Rail Transit (LRT) from January to October 2025 reached 1.1 million, or around 3,500 people per day.
"Based on the figures, the average passenger count exceeds the daily target set by the Jakarta Transportation Office," said the President Director of PT LRT Jakarta, Roberto Akyuwen, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He said the figure demonstrates the public's growing trust in the Jakarta LRT as a reliable, safe, and comfortable mode of public transportation.
In addition to the increase in passengers, the Jakarta LRT's customer satisfaction rating this year through September also showed positive results, with an average score of 93.85 percent.
