Jakarta, Aug. 29 -- The Jakarta Government will fully cover the medical costs for 38 people injured during a protest on Thursday, August 28, and currently being treated in several hospitals across the province.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government fully covers the treatment costs for all the patients. We want to ensure they receive the best health services without having to worry about the costs," Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said here on Friday.

He affirmed that the provincial government continues to coordinate with the relevant parties to ensure the victims are in a safe condition, the situation remains under control, and people's rights are protected.
