Jakarta, Nov. 29 -- The Jakarta Provincial Government distributed aid to victims of floods and landslides in North Sumatra.

Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karno, emphasized that a quick response is a top priority in dealing with this emergency situation.

"We immediately act and respond to the disaster in Sumatra. I asked that aid be collected today so it can be sent immediately," he said in Jakarta on Saturday.

This aid distribution is also supported by all Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD).
