Jakarta, Dec. 6 -- The Jakarta Education Office has expanded its "Urban Sustainability Education" program to strengthen students' understanding of food security and sustainable development through hands-on, city-focused learning.

Head of the Jakarta Education Office Nahdiana said the program is designed to build a sustainability mindset early by using practical, real-world activities that reflect the challenges of modern urban life.

"The students are given a foundation in food security, environmental stewardship, and solutions to common urban issues," she said in a statement on Saturday.
