Jakarta, Jan. 23 -- The Jakarta provincial government has urged companies in the capital to implement flexible work and work-from-home (WFH) policies as extreme weather conditions continue to cause widespread flooding.
"Companies are asked to adjust working hours or implement WFH for types of work that can be carried out online or from other safe locations," said Syaripudin, Head of the Jakarta Provincial Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency, in Jakarta on Friday.
He explained that the policy serves as a precautionary measure to protect the safety and health of workers while ensuring business continuity.
