Jakarta, Feb. 3 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has expressed full support for President Prabowo Subianto's proposal for a "roof tile transformation" project aimed at improving Indonesia's visual landscape.

"For corrugated zinc roofs to be replaced with roof tiles, I agree 1,000 percent," Anung said on Tuesday.

He said the Jakarta provincial government supports the idea to ensure the capital, as a global city, looks attractive and well organized.

Anung added that the Jakarta government would immediately follow up on directives issued by President Prabowo.

However, he said details of the policy have yet to be finalized, including whether zinc roofs on houses across Jakarta would be replaced or alternative approaches adopted.
