Jakarta, May 19 -- The Environment Ministry will deploy teams to several industrial areas, including an industrial zone managed by bonded zone developer PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN), to identify and address entities contributing to air pollution in Jakarta and its surrounding regions.

Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq explained that the move is being taken in anticipation of the upcoming dry season, during which boiler operations in industrial estates could worsen air quality.
