Jakarta, Sept. 18 -- The cities of Jakarta, Indonesia and Kinshasa, Congo have agreed to explore cooperation in economics, urban resilience, youth, climate, and environment to build sustainable and inclusive cities.

The collaboration was outlined in a Letter of Intent between the Jakarta Provincial Government and the Kinshasa City Government at the Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, Small and Medium Enterprise Expo (JITEC) 2025 in Jakarta, on Thursday.

Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno stated that as metropolitan cities and centers of national activity, Jakarta and Kinshasa play important roles for their respective countries.
