Surabaya, July 21 -- The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) is planning to establish a training center on its campus by broadening its automotive research and education collaboration with China's Beifang Automotive Education Group.

"This collaboration is a strategic step for ITS to provide education integrated with the needs of the global automotive industry," Manager of the ITS Science Techno Park (STP) Bambang Sudarmanta said in Surabaya on Monday.

He informed that the plan to expand the collaboration was forged after 10 ITS lecturers participated in new energy vehicle automotive training in China, funded by the Higher Education for Technology and Innovation (HETI) program of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
