Jakarta, May 16 -- The value of Medco E&P Natuna Energy's investment in the Forel and Terubuk oil fields in Natuna, Riau Islands, has reached nearly Rp10 trillion (USD1 = around Rp16,455), Indonesia's Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said.

"The investment in Forel and Terubuk was carried out by Medco E&P Natuna Energy with the total investment disbursed reaching almost Rp10 trillion," Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung informed in Jakarta on Friday.

He said that the oil fields are estimated to produce around 20 thousand barrels of oil per day and an additional 60 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas.
