Batang, C. Java, March 20 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, has said that investment realization in the Batang Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Central Java has reached Rp17.95 trillion so far, while worker absorption has touched 7 thousand.

"Currently, there are 27 companies listed in the Batang SEZ, with seven companies already operating, seven others in the construction stage, and 13 others in preparation," he noted after the inauguration ceremony of the Batang Industropolis SEZ on Thursday.
