Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education said the distribution of interactive flat panels (IFPs), or interactive whiteboards, to schools is aimed at supporting deep learning.

Gogot Suharwoto, the ministry's Director General of Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education, explained that IFPs are essential tools for interactive and deep learning.

"The interactive whiteboards, interactive content, and innovative learning methods are expected to foster deeper learning," he said in a podcast aired on Monday.

He noted that the use of IFPs in classrooms can help teachers and students discuss materials requiring visualization and interactive applications.
