Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto emphasized that innovation in government administration should not be limited to image-building or mere gimmicks, but must instead offer real solutions to problems faced by regional administrations.

"It would be unfortunate if innovation were merely a gimmick - something done for prestige, pride, or even the popularity of a regional leader. If it doesn't provide solutions, it isn't innovation," Bima said here on Wednesday.
