Jakarta, July 29 -- The Indonesian government has set a target of helping 10 thousand cooperatives established under the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) program begin operations by August 2025, according to Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan.
"We are determined to ensure that some 10 thousand village cooperatives will have begun operating by August," he remarked while expressing confidence that the number will grow further.
Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, he noted that the government has prepared initiatives to advance the KDMP program, including visits to regions nationwide to review the cooperatives' readiness to begin business operations.
