Jakarta, Sept. 7 -- The Indonesian national surfing team showed a promising performance in the first round of the 2025 International Surfing Association (ISA) World Surfing Games in La Bocana, El Salvador, on Saturday (September 6).
Of the six Indonesian athletes participating in the event, four have qualified for the second round, one has yet to compete, and the other must compete in the Repechage 1, or elimination round.
"The competition in Round 2 will be tougher in both the women's and men's events because Central and South America are sending their full teams," the Indonesian national surfing team head coach, Arya Subyakto, spoke to ANTARA on Sunday.
At the event, Dhany Widianto finished first in Heat 3 with a total of 7.87 points...
