Jakarta, July 1 -- The Indonesian National Police (Polri) officially commenced the ceremony marking the 79th Bhayangkara Day at the National Monument (Monas) area in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to ANTARA's on-site observation, the ceremony began with the announcer introducing the parade commanders and platoon leaders.

At 7:41 a.m. local time (WIB), the event continued with a moment of tribute to the Tribrata-the core values of the Indonesian Police-led by the ceremony commander.

At 7:48 a.m., President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the venue in a Pindad Maung tactical vehicle, followed shortly by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
