Beijing, April 19 -- Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Eddy Soeparno, visited the headquarters of Huawei, China's multinational telecommunications company based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, to seek support for the advancement of Indonesia's technological ecosystem.
"Indonesia and China have ample room for expanded collaboration in the fields of information and technology, particularly artificial intelligence, given its increasingly widespread daily use," he noted in a statement received by ANTARA in Beijing on Saturday.
During the visit on Thursday (April 17), Soeparno met with Huawei Technologies' Vice President for Foreign Affairs, Wang Ke, and Huawei Global's Director of Asian Affairs, Anna Liu.
