Jakarta, Dec. 25 -- The Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) has deployed 20 warships to support the government in accelerating disaster response efforts in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra following floods and landslides in late November.
"We are currently operating 20 warships in various regions, including Belawan, East Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, Lhokseumawe, Padang, Nias, and Sibolga," Operation Assistant to the TNI AL Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Yayan Sofiyan, remarked in North Jakarta on Thursday.
