Jakarta, April 30 -- Indonesia's Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, has called for improvements in education quality, particularly in preparation for the implementation of the New Student Admission System (SPMB).

"For three days, we have shared ideas, insights, and best practices to advance national education," Mu'ti stated at the closing of the 2025 National Consolidation for Primary and Secondary Education in Depok City, West Java, on Wednesday.

The forum addressed key issues such as the 13-year compulsory education policy, equitable access to education, school revitalization, the preservation of regional languages, the sovereignty of the Indonesian language, and the implementation of SPMB.
