Jakarta, Sept. 22 -- Indonesia's Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana held a dialogue with students of the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic to discuss ways to strengthen the tourism sector, with a particular focus on building human resource capacity and competitiveness.

Speaking at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic Students' Dialogue in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Saturday, Wardhana said she wanted to identify challenges while gathering fresh ideas from young people.

"I came here to hear about students' complaints and ideas. Young people always bring innovative perspectives that can help us in government," she said in a statement released Monday.
