Jakarta, March 30 -- Indonesia's National Armed Forces (TNI) will join a search and rescue mission to Myanmar to help evacuate victims of a deadly earthquake that jolted the country on March 28 by sending teams of rescuers as well as medical and engineering personnel.

"Today, the TNI commander attended a Zoom meeting, chaired by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, and TNI will prepare a SAR team as well as medical evacuation, and engineering team," Head of TNI Headquarters' Information Center Brigadier General Kristomei Sianturi confirmed to ANTARA on Sunday.
