Jakarta, Feb. 7 -- Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov exchanged views on multiple facets related to their countries' bilateral ties.

"We spoke about many topics to further enhance our nations' bilateral relations, including scholarships for Indonesian students in Russia," Ahmad remarked after receiving Tolchenove at the Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.

During the meeting, the lawmaker and the ambassador also touched upon bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, and food security while advocating for stronger ties between the Indonesian and Russian parliaments.
