Jakarta, June 23 -- The Indonesian government has delivered humanitarian aid to victims of floods and landslides in South Halmahera, North Maluku.
The announcement was made on Monday by Masryani Mansyur, Acting Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The ministry conducted an initial rapid assessment in coordination with the South Halmahera district government and established a public field kitchen in the Bacan Sub-district.
"We received direct instructions from the Minister of Social Affairs to promptly dispatch the necessary logistical assistance and ensure affected residents receive proper support," Mansyur said.
