Jakarta, Dec. 19 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs has prepared around 101,000 pieces of decent clothing for residents affected by the recent major floods and landslides across several regions in Aceh Province.

"Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian is scheduled to hand over the aid to disaster-hit people in Aceh this week," Home Affairs Minister's Special Staff for Political and Media Affairs Kastorius Sinaga noted in a statement cited in Jakarta on Friday.

He pointed out that the distribution of the clothing aid, which comprises upper and lower garments, including jackets, serves as a follow-up to the directive conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto during a plenary cabinet meeting in Jakarta on December 15.
