Jakarta, March 16 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) is committed to closely monitoring the case of sexual violence against minors allegedly committed by former Ngada District Police Chief, in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara.
"We, together with the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), the National Police Commission, and the Police Criminal Investigation Agency, will continue to ensure that all child victims in this case receive proper attention," the ministry's Deputy for Protection of Children, Nahar, said on Sunday.
There are three children who are victims in this case, aged 6, 13, and 16, along with a 20-year-old women, he said.
