Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- The Indonesian government aims to restore and revitalize around 1,300 of Indonesia's 13 thousand coastal areas this year to spur nationwide development and growth.
Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlements (PKP) Fahri Hamzah conveyed this information in a statement cited in Jakarta on Saturday.
He noted that the national project will be implemented jointly by the PKP Ministry and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), with a budget ranging between Rp20 billion and Rp22 billion (approximately US$1.3 million) for each location.
